Creating Parts

1. From the SmartSolve Portal Page, click the Home tab.
2. In the Setup and Policy section, click Setup.
3. In the Product section, click Part.
   Result: The Parts window is displayed.
4. Click Action > Add.
   Result: The Part entry window is displayed.

5. Enter the code for and name of the new part.
6. Enter or zoom to select the product line associated with the part.
7. Select the UOM Code (Unit of Measurement).
8. Enter the cost per unit for the part.

9. Click the Save button.
   Result: The new part has been added and the Detail of the part is displayed.
